My Approach to Helping
My philosophy of therapy is much like that of the words spoken by Alexander Graham Bell "when one door of happiness closes, another opens, but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one that has been opened for us." My goal in providing counseling is to help individuals find direction and function at their highest potential within all life areas. I help my clients focus on solutions to any obstacle that he/she maybe faced with. You can expect a confidential consultation and counseling, a respectful and non-judgmental attitude, candid guidance and support, and active listening, encouragement, and motivation.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist
The absolute thing I love about being a therapist is observing the change and growth of an individual. "Planting a seed and watching it grow" as some people say. This makes me passionate about providing mental health services to the best of my ability and helping people grow to their fullest potential.
Important Factors for Choosing a Therapist
"Feeling a connection" with a therapist is one of the most important factors when determining the right therapist for you. This connection allows for trust to foster within the relationship which in turn allows for growth with in the individual seeking services.
