My Approach to Helping
Parenting is great, but it does have challenges. Growing up is great, but there can be struggles. I think all children are capable. I believe parents and caregivers want to help their child thrive. My role is to come alongside, help to provide a solid road map and evidence-based support that works. I bring understanding, humor, and twenty years of experience. So, if you're struggling with parenting concerns or if your child is having learning problems or has difficulty managing anger or coping with anxiety, reach out. I'd be happy to see how I can help.
What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist
I love being a child psychologist. I enjoy working with children and teens and their families. Each child is unique and I welcome the opportunity to connect and help them. My role is to use evidence-based strategies and my years of clinical experience to help families understand their child's specific concerns. Whether that's related to a learning issue, anxiety, ADHD concerns, anger or relational problems, we work together. I work with the child and family to better understand their specific problem and come up with effective solutions to help them move along to do the things they want to do. I enjoy helping kids see that they are capable. That they can make changes that will help them to shine! That's why I love what I do!
