My Approach to Helping

Relationships are our greatest source of joy and also Pain! Therapy dedicated to relationship growth and couples counseling can really increase the quality of your everyday life!

I am passionate about helping my clients craft relationship tailored to their individual desires, beliefs, inner compass, and sense of self.

Communication is often where we start.
Does your partner seem to get defensive making you feel unheard and issues left unresolved? Instead of positive change, is there a lingering sense of resentment? There are skills you can learn in therapy to gain control of your emotions, so you may share your thoughts and hear what your partner is saying in a more mutually beneficial manner!

YOU HAVE THE POWER TO LOVE AND BE LOVED IN RETURN!

I am passionate about creating a safe space for clients to feel seen and respected, where they may explore their inner worlds, release trauma and shame, and create a life in which they can truly Thrive.

My therapeutic approach has the positive effect of helping my clients in all areas of their lives and particularly with finding and sustaining healthy relationships! YAY!!

How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist

While becoming a therapist takes a lot of training and experience, what makes my approach unique is who I am as a person. I strive to be down-to-earth, blending KNOWLEDGE, EMPATHY and HUMOR into therapy, because like you, I HAVE EXPERIENCED STRUGGLE in my life and love relationships. I am a divorced single mom. (check out my timeline on my website to learn more about my journey to becoming a therapist) YOU ARE NOT ALONE. Warmth, Openness, & Authenticity are the central tenets of my practice.
