Challenges can overwhelm our ability to cope. My objective, as a certified psychotherapist, is to assist in managing these issues safely, in a stress- free environment. Treatment is tailored towards the individual's needs. My job is to support you through the process of change in order to feel greater security and self-esteem. I use psychodynamic, relational and CBT approaches. I specialize in mood issues - anxiety, depression and chronic feelings of isolation being among the most common. I am a certified drug and alcohol counselor and have spent years helping clients grappling with substance abuse.
I also treat process addictions including eating, gambling and sex addiction. I work with many LGBTQ clients who seek support for relationship issues, internetdrugsex addiction and concerns relating to HIV. An additional specialty of mine relates to workers in the corporate environment who feel "stuck" in present roles.
Similarly, I act as career coach for many actorsartists looking to advance their careers. Simply put, my job is to help you attain your goals through a lens of honesty and unconditional support. Therapy can help and given the chance it does. And the process can be life-altering.
