My Approach to Helping
Jessica deOrnellas is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who has over 5 years of experience providing evidence-based treatment to a wide variety of clients, having worked with adults, children, and adolescents seeking help in dealing with anxiety, depression, anger management, behavioral issues, undeveloped coping skills, grief, difficult life transitions, low self-esteem, stress, trauma, and PTSD. Jessica completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Albright College and received her Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling at Alvernia University. Through educational and occupational experiences, she has provided treatment in outpatient, residential, in-home, and school-based settings.Jessica draws on a variety of practices including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, trauma-focused cognitive approaches (TF-CBT), person-centered methods, and positive psychology. She cares about the overall well-being of her clients. Jessica aims to help you achieve your goals in mental health, education or career, and your personal life for an overall healthy and fulfilling lifestyle.
