What's My Approach to Therapy?

I welcome clients who seek a collaborative, non-judgmental process focused on addressing painful emotions and circumstances.

We will address difficult relationship patterns, grieve unacceptable losses, and investigate ways to change stuck situations. While I specialise in working with anxiety, stress, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions and complex grief, I welcome all clients who are seeking a therapist who is present, authentic, and comfortable in hard-to-resolve situations. I welcome LGBTQIA+ and neurodiverse clients, and I am committed to acknowledging the diverse ways that history, social structures, and culture are woven into my clients' lives.

My Role as a Therapist

My role as a therapist is to be able to join you in a space of loneliness & hopelessness; to think together about complex and painful situations; to listen deeply with attention to context and history; and to bring my knowledge of psychotherapy research and practice into the conversation in ways that open up new pathways for growth, insight, action, andor acceptance.
