My Approach to Therapy
I work with individuals navigating trauma, complex family dynamics, and uncertainty about their life direction—especially those who feel caught between who they are and who they were expected to be.
I specialize in trauma and family dynamics, with a particular focus on experiences within Asian families. Together, we can explore how your upbringing and cultural context have shaped you, process past wounds, and help you reconnect with a stronger sense of identity and purpose.
I also support clients who feel stuck or unsure about their next steps. Whether you’re considering a career change, adjusting to life in a new country, or navigating shifting relationships, I offer a space to explore what matters most and move forward with clarity and confidence.
I have worked with clients from diverse backgrounds and identities, and I’m especially committed to supporting those who identify as Asian and, more broadly, BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour). I bring an understanding of how systemic and cultural factors can shape your experiences, relationships, and sense of self.
In our work together, I show up as a real person. I will laugh and sit with you in difficult moments. I will support and guide you—but I will also gently challenge you when you’re getting in your own way, always with care and respect.
I have experience supporting clients facing anxiety, depression, stress, fertility challenges, and the impacts of systemic oppression. My goal is to help you reconnect with yourself in a deep and meaningful way, so you can begin to feel more grounded, safe, and aligned in your life.
My lived experience as a trauma survivor also informs my work, allowing me to meet you with empathy, attunement, and a genuine understanding of what it means to heal and grow.

My Role as a Therapist
Is to hold space for you and to support you in connecting with your existing resources so that you learn to feel in your body, in your being, and allow others to see you.
Important Factors for Choosing a Therapist
I believe that when choosing a therapist, it?s important to understand how they are supported in their own lives. A therapist who seeks support?whether through their own therapy or a trusted community?is better able to show up with presence, care, and self-awareness.
I value the importance of sitting in the client?s chair myself. Being in that role allows me to stay connected to the vulnerability, courage, and trust it takes to do this work. It helps me meet you not just as a professional, but as a human who understands what it means to seek support.
