My greatest satisfaction comes from working with couples who are struggling to make their relationship better. I've been trained by Terry Real and certified in his method of working as a Relational Life Therapist. I also offer weekend boot camps in essential relational skills. As someone who was married and divorced prior to my current marriage, I'm sensitive to what it is like to through the adjustments of divorce, remarriage, and step-parenting. (I have 4 adult children from my first marriage). I also work with individuals who are attempting to reconcile their own personal growth with becoming more relational towards their partners (or future partners). I approach my clients with the same kindness and compassion I would expect from a therapist if the situation were reversed. I received my MSW degree from New York University and have been in private practice for over 35 years. I've also worked in outpatient children's psychiatric clinics, schools, and residential treatment programs in NYC, Yonkers, Rockland County, Orange County, and Ulster County, NY.
