My Approach to Helping
I have passionately supported people through transition, healing and growth for over twenty years. I am the founder of Grow Well, which currently offers psychotherapy, and may soon resume online support and community classes that are grounded in self-kindness, compassion, and mindfulness, as well as non-dieting approaches to healthy eating.
In addition to working with people who experience anxiety, depression or who are struggling with a tough transition, I also specialize in helping people make self-compassionate health and lifestyle changes.
Experiences of shame, emotional overwhelm, anxiety, depression, and using food and other substances to manage challenging emotions can happen to any of us, and it is worthy to take care with these experiences.
I use a mindfulness-based, client-centered approach to help you meet your life challenges, helping you discover new ways to tend to your pain and challenges. I am grateful for the chance to work with groups and individuals to help them find deeper wellbeing from within.
In addition to individual counseling, I also offer coaching, collaborative community classes and online support.
