My Approach to Helping

I use psychotherapy which serves as a safe place to explore your past andor current thoughts, feelings, and actions that have been triggered by daily stressors, relationship issues, grief and loss, or the impact of a specific trauma. I use various approaches like CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy, helping to re-frame your thinking), ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy, helping to create psychological flexibility), DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy, to provide skills in connections with emotional regulation), and Humanistic Therapy to assist you through your challenges.

Holistic psychotherapy uses both traditional methods of psychotherapy along with nontraditional approaches, such as Neurofeedback, Qigong and Rhythm Healing (drumming) to assist you with a deeper level of wellness. In holistic psychotherapy, the mind, body and spirit are viewed as one unit, working in harmony and seeking integration and balance.
