My Approach to Therapy

I am the expert on psychology; you are the expert on your life. We can only work together to reach your goals. Although I am a general psychotherapist, I work with: TRAUMAS: resolving past traumas, both 'big' and 'small' that create current unhappiness; MARRIAGE COUNSELING: Teaching couples how to be Loving Communicators; PET LOSS GRIEF COUNSELING: People and their pets experience a unique relationship unlike any other. When that bond ends, extreme pain and grief often results. Counseling helps get you through this sad period so that you can give your pet the legacy deserved. CANINE ROTARY MASSAGE: An animal assisted therapy that reduces stress, anxiety and depression.

My Practice & Services

Janice's Rotary Canine Massage for Psychotherapy is an animal assisted therapy to reduce depression, anxiety and stress in humans. This therapy is like none other. It takes you outside your depression, anxiety or stress as you massage your canine friend to better health and wellness.

The Duration and Frequency of Therapy

Length of therapy: The short answer is as long as you want. This is your therapy and you control the frequency. To help in this matter, I will often check in with you to see if therapy is going in the direction you want. Here are some possibilities on how you might arrange sessions: once a week; every other week. one session and you are good to go; eight or more sessions until changes are seen and you feel satisfied. Talk to Janice for more ideas to fit your needs.
