What's My Approach to Therapy?
In a world that can feel overwhelming and uncertain, trying to navigate your own struggles on top of everything else can be exhausting. Maybe you’re facing a major life transition, wrestling with big existential questions, trying to cope with the state of the world, or in need of a supportive space to help life feel more manageable. Whatever you’re carrying, you don’t have to figure it out alone. Together, we’ll create space for you to process your experience, explore what truly matters to you, and reconnect with yourself. You deserve to feel at home in your mind and body, grounded in who you are, and free to live the life you want.
My approach is relational and collaborative, blending somatic practices to strengthen the mind-body connection. Compassion guides my work, and I deeply value the therapeutic relationship. Together, we’ll move beyond getting stuck in your head toward a more embodied experience, deepen self-trust, authentic growth, lasting shifts, and greater self-acceptance.
Above all, my goal is to help you embrace your authentic self. I encourage you to bring your true self to our sessions, share what feels comfortable, and engage in authentic conversations. Seeking therapy takes courage. I’d be honored to connect with you. I offer online therapy in Washington State, and a free 20-minute consultation to answer any questions.
My Practice & Services
My hope is our work will help you feel more at peace with yourself, find joy in the everyday moments, and develop the inner trust to navigate life’s highs, lows, and everything in between. I primarily work with adults and have a specialized focus in anxiety, overwhelm, life transitions, adult ADHD, trauma, and serving the LGBTQIA+ community. I also believe that advocacy is an essential part of mental health treatment. I also work through a systemic lens and wholeheartedly embrace a body acceptance, body neutrality and Health at Every Size approach.
How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist
I understand the feeling of being stuck and yearning for more in life. I have personally experienced the weight of my past and the disconnection from my true self. I empathize with the challenges of change and the discomfort that can arise from challenging internalized beliefs and confronting life's difficulties.
During my early life, I struggled with people-pleasing and conforming to others' expectations, facing limiting beliefs, trauma, and self-esteem issues. Therapy became a powerful tool for self-acceptance and transformation.
Having benefited from therapy myself, I am passionate about guiding others on their journey of self-discovery. I have witnessed firsthand the profound changes that can occur within a supportive therapeutic relationship, fostering curiosity and growth.
