My Approach to Helping

My mission as a therapist and coach is to help you revive your innate power, heal your emotional wounds, repair your relationships, and align your actions with your truth.

Sometimes we need an extra brain to bounce things off of, a man to connect with, a nonjudgmental person to listen, a healer to heal our emotional pain, or a trained professional to teach us some new tools once we've exhausted those in our toolbox. That's what I'm here for. The men I help typically have one or more of the following going on: life transition, relationship struggles, emotional overwhelm, work dissatisfaction, anxiety, addiction, anger, depression, ADHD, or existential crisis. I work both indoors and outdoors, incorporating nature when possible as my "co-therapist." You will feel genuinely safe to be the true you while in my presence as you heal traumas, discover truths about yourself, learn how to communicate more effectively, embrace your gifts and power, curb your ineffective habits, and get clearer about how to solve your problems. At the end of every session I email my clients a list of "Action Items" to further their growth between sessions. We have one life to live, and my goal is to help you make the most of it!

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed

Contrary to popular opinion, most of the most successful people around us have sought professional support at some point during their career. People who heal their traumas tend to be much stronger individuals. There's even a term for it- "Post Traumatic Growth." Being attuned to your pain, inner blocks, and relationship struggles and reaching out for support takes guts! Courage is not the absence of fear, it's the willingness to feel fear but continue to move forward despite it. Seeing a therapist is one of the greatest testaments of courage I know. Emotional intelligence, balance, and self-awareness lead to self-mastery, which is anything but weakness.
