In our sessions together, we'll embark on an approach that combines a personalized technique to explore insights in your life and presenting issues. This combination is particularly effective if you're dealing with the impacts of trauma or if you're curious about the deeper motivations that drive your behaviors and affect your emotional health.

More Info About My Practice
I am the owner of Orange County Therapy. My group practice is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health services to individuals in our community. Our team consists of highly trained and experienced therapists who specialize in a variety of therapeutic approaches, ensuring that we can meet the diverse needs of our clients.
One of our specialized offerings at Orange County Therapy is our Women's Anxiety Therapy Group. This group is designed specifically for women who are dealing with anxiety, whether it manifests as generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety, panic attacks, or other forms of anxiety. The group provides a safe and nurturing space for women to explore their experiences with anxiety, learn coping strategies, and gain support from peers who understand their challenges.
The group sessions are structured to foster an environment of trust and openness, allowing participants to share their thoughts and feelings without judgment. Our trained therapists guide each session with a focus on helping members understand the roots of their anxiety, develop resilience, and implement practical tools for managing anxiety in their daily lives. Group therapy not only helps in reducing the symptoms of anxiety but also enhances the participants' sense of empowerment and community.
What I Say to People Concerned about the Therapy Process
Where the heck do you start?!
Rest assured, many people are confused when it comes to therapy. It is really ambiguous and can be difficult to get the motivation to interview several therapists to find the best fit. When you finally decide you're ready for therapy and somehow find me, the next step would be completing a free consultation then making an appointment. Once the initial appointment is scheduled, you will be sent all intake documents by client portal and complete all paperwork electronically (we can do paper copies too if that works better). You do not need to do anything to prepare for your first session but you can expect just to share why you came, your expectations for your treatment and collaborating on a game plan for therapy. Your next few sessions may look like this. Typically I can't determine a length of treatment in a few sessions but I am happy to discuss this more with you. Treatment length really depends on what issues arise and why you come to therapy.
