As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Qualified Supervisor, my approach to helping is centered around a comprehensive and empathetic perspective. I tailor therapeutic modalities to meet everyone's unique needs using evidence-based approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy (C.B.T.) and dialectical behavioral therapy (D.B.T.). Drawing from my experience as a Qualified Supervisor, I also oversee the clinical practice of Registered Social Work Interns at H.U.P.C.
MORE INFO ABOUT MY PRACTICE
My educational journey includes a bachelor’s degree from Vassar College and a master’s in social work from the University of Pennsylvania in 2003. With a specialization in women’s health for nearly fifteen years, I dedicated a decade to serving low-income, uninsured women in Key West, Florida. Since 2014, my focus has shifted to working with clients dealing with substance abuse disorders in various treatment settings. Alongside women, I also actively engage with LGBTQ+ clients in my clinical practice.
Beyond my professional role, I am a three-time full IRONMAN finisher, a Certified Triathlon Coach, an IRONMAN All-World Athlete, and a U.S.A. Triathlon All-American ranked athlete. This commitment to the mind-body-spirit connection is integral to my holistic approach in both personal and professional spheres.
