My Approach to Helping

The anxiety therapist works with clients from diverse walks of ethnic life and others with lived experiences. All are welcome here to “explore” and expand your options. I commend you for seeking help. Being the anxiety therapist, I work with clients to “Clean out” and “Reinstall” using various methods suitable to each person’s individual experiences and assessed needs. Clients can expect the anxiety therapist to work with clients that have experienced domestically stressful situations and beyond. Focal areas are interpersonal issues, love and family issues, self-esteem challenges, depression, life transitions, occupational stressors, trauma, trauma bonding, “stuck” thoughts, and many other topics that become prevalent in the revision process. Methods are selected based on individual needs, with the following modalities as options: EMDR (eye movement desensitization reprocessing therapy), cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, motivational interviewing, and reality therapy.

In this non-judgmental, private space individuals can expect to have the opportunity to be the GPS. Ultimately, individuals provide the location, attack the target, and provide the vessel for getting “across” to that THING that’s on the other side of underlying worries and fears, with the therapist navigating alongside them. Individuals are guided based on their pace. Individuals are expected to be drivers and leaders in their therapeutic processes. Welcome in! Let’s buckle our seatbelts and check the rearview mirror.

I look forward to meeting you. Come on Vamos!

More Info About My Practice

I offer virtual services currently. I am building a waiting list of prospective and current clients that may be interested in in-person services. I am seeking to potentially add in-person, community visits at a local place in the Houston area to a limited number of clients, based on prior screening, consulting, and assessment.

This practice hosts late evenings on some Thursdays and works with clients on some Saturdays.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I employ an unique process of describing my services to others in their intake appointments and beyond. I often provide a blend of psychoeducation and processing to help clients get comfortable working with me for therapy. Clients often establish rapport with me early on in our therapeutic alliance and we work to decide what modality is best suitable to their immediate needs. We lead into other modalities based on need and add in various counseling techniques to get the client to reach their goals. Clients can expect to use somatic expressions, emotional expressions, and verbal presentations to deliver their feelings, thoughts, and presence in therapy with me.
