My Approach to Helping

It seems like the gut reaction to grief and loss is to hide and deny it or numb it away. Grief will shake us, yet it is essentially human to grieve. Our world is broken and your situation is no exception. Heartbroken, Betrayed, Loss, Disappointment, Injustice. No matter the form, grief can take hold and bring you to your knees. Grief tends to isolate us as we hide our feelings from others who don't know how to help. As Francis Weller states, "Grief is not a problem to be solved, but a deep encounter with an essential experience of being human." In other words we will all grieve but few of us will engage with our grief.

I work with individuals and couples by bringing a calm, steady, authentic peace to the room that allows you to engage with the details of you story. I bring a posture of acceptance and patience which helps you return to steady ground and allows you to reclaim the ability to connect with self and others.

It feels daunting to take that first step and trust someone with your pain. Call and you'll reach a kind voice that is ready to face the uncertainty with you. Reach out now for a complimentary consultation where I'll listen and help direct you to start the process of your healing. I look forward to hearing from you.
