My Approach to Helping

Another fight over some trivial thing. You don’t know why your fuse is so short these days. Everything seems to irritate you, and you snap over even minor inconveniences. Trying to pinpoint when this feeling began and realize it probably goes back to some past pain, but the wound was too raw, and the feelings of shame and guilt too great, for you to process it at the time. So instead, you shoved those emotions down. Now they’re manifesting themselves in this uncontrollable anger. You wonder if the only way past this pain is through it, but you’re scared to reopen those wounds. You feel trapped and unable to move forward.

Using AEDP, an experiential approach focused on healing from the inside out, we’ll help you take back control. Together, we’ll work to slow down and better organize your thoughts. You’ll learn to recognize the root causes of your suffering so that you can finally process and move past it. And soon rediscover the joy in life that’s been missing for too long.

Tap into the innate resources at your disposal. Rediscover the strength and resiliency that’s waiting just below the surface. The first step is not easy, but you owe it to yourself to start living the life you deserve. And I’ll walk with you, offering guidance, support, and encouragement along the way. Call for your free consultation, and let’s get started!

More Info About My Practice

In 2023 I have begun professional training in Sex Therapy. Specifically I will be going through the program at the Institute for Sexual Wholeness and pursue certification through ABCST (American Board of Christian Sex Therapists). In the coming months I will be developing my own Christian theology of sex and sexuality. While this view is Christian in view, I work well with people of all backgrounds and beliefs.
My approach follows the DEC-R process of creating Dialogue, Educating in areas of sexuality, Coaching in order to achieve desired goals, and finally Referrals to other professionals which include other specialists as well as other disciplines to help bring the whole person into health.
