My Approach to Helping
I am an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist and place a high emphasis on being your partner, not your teacher. What I mean by that is rather than taking an approach of "here's how we can fix you," I'm more interested in "what are your goals, and here's how I can support you getting there." I focus on helping you with your relationship, your career stress, weight lossgain, and anger management. In a relationship where you feel like there's more conflict than there needs to be? Maybe you're single and dating in today's world of swipes, blocks, and ghosting. Either way, I\'m here to take as much of the burdens you're carrying off your plate and help you organize your thoughts in the most empathetic manner I can! My process includes intake information before our first session together and then that first time we meet is more of a "get to know you\" phase. After we\'ve moved to our second and third sessions, we will have our goals for therapy ironed out and then each session is our progress toward it where I will maintain a judgment-free, safe space for us!
