Donna Hrobak is a mental health therapist, Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and supervisee/candidate for licensure who specializes in working with individuals, couples, and families seeking therapy for depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress syndrome (PTSD), bipolar disorder, addiction, effective communication, and stress management. Donna has over 13 years of experience working with clientele in the states of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. In addition, she has 12 years of experience working with adult clientele with co-occurring substance abuse and mental health issues in both residential and outpatient programs. Donna completed her Bachelor of Science (BS) in Human Services with a focus on Addiction Studies at Thomas Edison State University and her Master of Science (MS) in Human Services with a concentration in Social and Community Services at Capella University. Throughout Donna’s time as a therapist, she has worked with diverse populations and utilizes culturally competent practices with all clientele. Donna strives to create trusting and effective relationships with all those she works with. Her goal is to create a safe space where you can begin to effectively and collaboratively work toward your life intentions and bring about a greater level of meaning, understanding, and self-care into your life. Donna takes a client-centered, collaborative, holistic approach with all clientele, and utilizes a strengths-based, cognitive-behavioral, mindful, empowering approach. Her greatest strengths include her active listening skills, her solution-based outlook, and her non-judgmental stance.
