My Approach to Helping
Welcome! We are not meant to deal with the difficulties of life alone. Therapy provides a place to feel heard and understood. It can offer a fresh perspective and help you find solutions.
I provide therapy to individuals (adults and teens) through confidential online video sessions. I personalize therapy for each client, which means you can expect me to get to know you, your concerns, your needs, and your hopes for your life. I believe that when a person feels safe, accepted, and emotionally supported that healing can begin. My style is warm, gentle, encouraging, and collaborative. Some of the areas I work with include: anxiety, worries, stress, depression, grief, low self-esteem, negative thoughts, communication skills, parenting, and adjusting to challenges or changes in life.
The relationship between therapist and client is one of the most important aspects of successful therapy. Therefore, I offer a free 15-minute phone call in order to determine if we are a good fit. If we both feel comfortable moving forward, we will schedule our first appointment following this consultation.
