My Approach to Helping
I believe it's the relationship... not just the techniques that creates the pathway to healing. My role isn't to fix or judge you, but to walk alongside you with steadiness, curiosity, and compassion. I help you slow down, listen inward, and begin to untangle patterns shaped by pain, protection, or survival.
Sessions with me are rooted in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Attachment Theory, filtered through a trauma-informed lens that respects the nervous system’s need for safety. Expect laughter, honest reflection, and practical experiments you can try the very same day. We’ll track what works, leave what doesn’t, and keep the process transparent so you always know why we’re doing what we’re doing.
I work with adults across Oregon online or in my Salem office who are carrying the weight of past trauma. In therapy, we’ll slow down, unpack the pain behind the patterns, and gently rebuild safety from the inside out. You don’t have to carry it alone anymore.
More Info About My Practice
In our sessions, authenticity leads the way. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationship pain, or the lasting impact of trauma.
Together, we create a steady, judgment-free space to gently explore what’s beneath the surface—then find small, practical tools to loosen the knots and help you feel more grounded, less overwhelmed, and more connected to yourself.
Whether you're carrying emotional heaviness, burnout, or patterns that no longer serve you, you don’t have to face it alone. This is a space to breathe, unpack what’s weighing on you, and begin healing at your own pace. When you’re ready, we’ll start with a simple conversation and move forward at a rhythm that feels right for you.
My Role as a Therapist
I believe it's the relationship... not just the techniques that creates the pathway to healing. My role isn't to fix or judge you, but to walk alongside you with steadiness, curiosity, and compassion. I help you slow down, listen inward, and begin to untangle patterns shaped by pain, protection, or survival.
Together, we will build a space that's real, honest, and grounded in trust so you can explore, feel, and grow at a pace that respects your story.
Important Factors for Choosing a Therapist
Choosing a therapist is more than finding the right license or specialty- it's about finding someone you feel safe with. The connection between you and your therapist is one of the strongest predictors of healing.
You deserve to work with someone who listens without judgment, honors your pace, and respects your lived experience. Trust your gut. If something feels off, keep looking. Therapy is a brave investment in yourself?and you get to choose who walks with you through it.
Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed
Needing support doesn't make you weak- it makes you human.
Therapy isn't a sign of failure; it's a brave decision to face what's hard instead of pushing it down. It means you're self-aware enough to want something better, and strong enough to ask for help along the way.
We all carry pain, patterns, and stories we didn't choose. Therapy is a space to begin rewriting those stories with care, clarity, and self-compassion. There is nothing flawed about seeking healing- it's one of the most courageous things you can do.
