My Approach to Helping
This is a message to all the 20-something young adults struggling with anxiety, depression, or trauma. I see you! You want to move on..of course! Nobody wants to feel this way. But these symptoms are so unpredictable. You never know when they'll show up & hijack your body. You're spending a ton of energy managing them, numbing yourself, or trying to feel alive. My approach has been described as compassionate, warm, and a tad bit playful. We'll laugh a lot. And we might cry a bit, too. Our goal is to calm your nervous system and release stuck experiences. Together, we'll use techniques to help you recognize symptoms in your body, identify emotions, and work through distressing memories in a safe, nonjudgmental way.
