My Approach to Helping
I provide a non-judgmental, caring, and solution-oriented approach to therapy, which clients report help them feel safe to explore their problems, find solutions, and move forward in a positive way. I work with individuals, couples and families, with a specialization in divorce and blended family adjustments. My other areas of interest and expertise include adolescent and teen issues, couples counseling, grief and loss, as well as families facing the challenges of chronic illness.
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and hold Masters and Doctoral Degrees in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. In addition, I have been on the adjunct faculty in the Marriage and Family Therapy Program at NSU, as well as a clinical member and approved supervisor for the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.
I am the co-director of Family Therapy Associates, a private practice in the Coral Springs-Parkland area. My goal is to provide a confidential, caring and non-judgmental environment in which you can find new ways to explore relationships, improve communication, and resolve family conflicts. My objective is to help you develop and identify individual and family strengths and find positive solutions that "fit" for you and your family.
Choosing a therapist is an important decision, and in order for the therapy process to be most helpful, it is essential that you feel comfortable with the person you choose. Please don't hesitate to call or text me directly with questions, concerns, or to schedule an appointment.
