My Approach to Helping
I love working with those struggling with major life transitions such as transition to college, grad school, between careers, transition to parenthood, transitions in relationships (break ups, marriage, separation), high-achieving individuals and entrepreneurs. Along with major life transitions often comes anxiety, uncertainty, stress, identity changes, procrastination, difficulties with attention, feeling overwhelmed, perfectionism, and sometimes imposter syndrome. I help those in life transitions become unstuck, and find balance in their lives to optimize both physical and mental health, as well as their relationships.
My approach is warm, connected, and you are treated like an equal. I meet you where you're at, but I am also very active in sessions, giving evidence-based tools and strategies to use outside of sessions in order create meaningful change. It's not uncommon for me to send you a video, podcast or other resource related to what we are working on, in order to enhance the work we are doing between sessions.

What I Say to People Concerned about the Therapy Process
I remember reaching out for help in September 2020 and being so nervous to look for a psychologist. Even thought I was a psychologist myself, I remember fearing being judged. It was a deep, fiery, intense fear. Turned out to be the best thing I could have ever done, and 3 years later I still meet with my psychologist weekly.
It's such a common, human instinct to feel vulnerable when asking for and accepting help. I want you to know that I'm human. I have my own psychologist, entrepreneurial coach, couples therapist, doula.... you name it.... and you know what? I think all of those things make me even more qualified to work with my clients. I love helping others embrace the messiness of life. I feel humbled that I get to walk alongside my clients through their lives, and that they entrust me with their stories, vulnerabilities, highs and lows. My advice is to set fear aside, and call for a free 30 minute consult. See if it feels like a match. Remember: it's such an invaluable gift to yourself that you're looking for this kind of support!
