My Approach to Helping
I work with adults and teens who are struggling with anxiety, relationship problems and difficulties managing stress. I will help you find strength within and teach you tools so you can make the changes you need to feel better and lead a happy, healthy life. Let me start by saying I truly enjoy being a therapist. People seek out therapy for a variety of issues. There are times when we all need a little help. I am here to listen, help you build your strengths, positive relationships and attain your personal goals, all in a safe environment. We will work together in a collaborative approach. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused and Person Centered theories. Each person and problem is unique which is why my treatment is tailored to each individual, couple or family.
My areas of expertise include anxiety disorders, including but not limited to, generalized anxiety, panic disorder and OCD, as well as relationship problems.
