My Approach to Helping
If you suffer from past or present trauma, persistent feelings of sadness or hopelessness, or you are struggling with conflicts in your relationships with friends, co-workers, or partners, I would like to help you feel better. I specialize in working with people who suffer from depression, trauma (childhood or more recent), and/or relationship conflicts. I provide you with tools to help you alleviate feelings of depression, strategies to help you cope with the complexities of traumatic stress, and the capacity to handle relational conflict.
My office is a safe and caring place where I will listen carefully to what you say and how you say it. We will try to understand the present situation together and how it arose. We will then be able to work towards building your life into a richer, fuller experience. I emphasize real connectedness with the people with whom I work. I listen with caring and with compassion. We can work together to resolve the problems that currently beset you.
