My Approach to Helping
Dr. Connally Barry offers therapy with adults, teenagers, and children with the main goal of helping her clients become the best version of themselves! She believes that with empathy, evidence-based practices, and the right cognitive exercises, anyone can cope with life stressors. She specializes in anxiety, depression, transitions, coping skills, family discord, and postpartum distress. She also enjoys working with the LGBTQIA+ population. Dr. Barry completed her Doctorate of Psychology at Nova Southeastern University and completed her clinical training at the University of South Florida. Dr. Barry has ample experience working with couples and families and uses her ability to identify patients' strengths to aid in her treatment. She uses multiple treatment approaches including mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy. We all deserve to enjoy our life and to be our most productive selves — and that's where Dr. Barry comes in! We are all exhibiting higher levels of anxiety and depression.
