My Approach to Helping

A message from your therapist:

"Are you at home in the middle of the day eating Doritos in your PJs?

Could you use a little more excellence and a little less existential dread?

So many of us come to a point where we hit a wall and no matter how precise we are in our moon driven intentions, distractions, hindering thought processes and the feeling of overall suspended doom creeps in.

Do you find yourself hating what used to be your dream job?
Maybe you're watching your dreams slip away as you grapple with capitalist confinement?

Or perhaps you just haven't witnessed the best version of yourself yet and can't wait to show up to your own life.

Hi, my name is Chriss and I am a psychotherapist.

I use evidence based strategies to get you out of your head and into your life.

I use taboo language to disrupt deep rooted thought patterns and a non-linear approach to hold space for neurodivergent thinkers.
My work frames ideas of rewildingland reimmersion, a strengths-based approach and ecosystems theory.

We'll be using CBT to address the things that we can change and ACT to navigate the things we cannot.

Through the blending of these two modalities, no leaf is left unturned.

Pull up a chair, wrap yourself in your favorite blanket and let's get started.

Can I offer you a cup of coffee or tea?"
