My Approach to Helping
I help high achieving professionals with relational and emotional issues. I help people redefine their lives and relationship to themselves while healing from a lifetime of those little pains that seem small individually but amass to something overwhelming. I specialize in anxious men going through career changes and entrepreneurial female business owners processing their identity and values.
I work best by joining you as a thought partner to look around and underneath the things you're lost in. I will help you find new ways of being with yourself and with your life so that you have more agency and intention in how you live. We can sit in the big scary unknowns together and the parts of you that are too hard to look at alone. We'll make connections backward through insight-building, be present with your in-the-moment experiences (including relational dynamics with me), and look forward to building a life worth living.
More Info About My Practice
I am the founder and CEO of Relational Psych, a mental health group practice specializing in depth oriented psychotherapy and psychological testing for children, teens and adults. Our psychological assessments are thorough, personalized, and comprehensive, and we have expertise in adult neurodiversity (e.g, ADHD and autism), personality, complex mood and trauma. I provide clinical services and supervision along with the rest of our growing team of psychodynamically-focused clinicians. We are accepting new clients in person in Queen Anne, Seattle and online in Washington. I also provide business coaching on building a private practice, mental health group practice, and creating life balance with entrepreneurship.
What I Say to People Concerned about the Therapy Process
You're not too broken or too whole for therapy. My approach is well-suited for those who may fear they don't "need" therapy as well as those who worry they're un-fixable. With me, the goals will be more about increasing capacity to be with yourself and to have a life worth living rather than just reducing your difficult symptoms.
