My Approach to Helping
I believe that given the opportunity, everyone has the ability to grow and change toward the person they want to be. I serve adolescents, teens, and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, self-identity, self-esteem, and the transition from child to adulthood. I am also especially skilled at:
Intellectual Disability Support: I have experience accessing your intellectual diagnosis finding the ideal counseling structure for you. Life skills may be impacted, and I ensure you continue to work toward your goals.
Career Counseling: Transitioning to a new job or finding a new career path can be difficult. I have extensive training to help you find work-life balance or the career fulfillment you desire.
Past Trauma: I have experience helping clients overcome trauma and resulting behavioral issues. You deserve to take your life back, and I can guide you to a better state of mind.
I am adaptable and utilizes numerous therapeutic techniques, including Solution Focused Brief Therapy, CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing. I know communication is important and wants to ensure comfort whether that be through talk therapy or other creative ways.
I earned my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. In my free time, I enjoy the outdoors, live music, and spending time with family, friends, and my cat.
