Brian Byerly is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 12 years of experience in the Behavioral Health field. He is honored to meet his clients where they are at and build a collaboration for a brighter future. He walks with adults, couples, and families struggling with stress, depression, and anxiety, repairing or changing relationships, addressing traumatic experiences with non-judgmental kindness and targeted interventions, and working together to build a solid foundation for success in a major life transition. He focuses on identifying what is holding clients back and working together towards a solution on a path to a life well-lived.
Brian completed his Master of Social Work at Appalachian State University with high honors. He has had bumps in the road on this life journey which, blended with his professional expertise, provides a unique and effective perspective in offering guidance and support to people from a wide variety of cultures and backgrounds. Brian utilizes a multimodal approach tailored to the specific needs of his clients. He specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, and cognitive processing therapy, though ultimately collaborates with his client to best serve their needs.
