My Approach to Helping

Are you having difficulty managing anxious thoughts, depressed feelings or social distancing? Do you isolate, overeat or using drugsalcohol to escape emotions? I am a licensed clinical psychologist with 10+ years experience helping clients with mental health and substance use disorders. Utilizing elements of mindfulness meditation, compassion-based treatments and cognitive behavioral therapy, I will help you improve your quality of life. We will practice "in-the-moment skills" for managing difficult thoughts and emotions and help your true self flourish. Whether the concern is life transition, chronic pain, compulsive behaviors or trauma, you will learn to cope with these difficult experiences at a pace of your choosing.

It is important that everyone have an opportunity to live a meaningful and valued life. Unfortunately this is a difficult undertaking when feeling constrained by mental health struggles. I am humbled at the opportunity to help you break free from this struggle and journey back into a life of fulfillment. I am currently taking appointments and work primarily with adults, young adults, and seniors. Please visit www.cognitivebehavioralcounseling.com for more information.
