My Approach to Helping

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker I empower individuals to see their wholeness, to reclaim their sense of personal value, and to rebuild their lives after trauma and marginalization. Utilizing a variety of therapeutic interventions in conjunction with a great deal of empathy, I support individuals along their healing journey. I am always amazed at the resilience of the human spirit and am committed to providing the therapeutic space necessary for individuals to heal and to create lives full of purpose and meaning.
I have over 15 years of experience in providing mental health support to a wide variety of clientele, including but not limited to veterans, first responders, the LGBTQ+ Community, and sexual trauma survivors of all genders. I specialize in addressing complex PTSD, sexual trauma, gender dysphoria, minority stress, relational issues, attachment disorders, depression, and anxiety.
I am highly trained in a variety of evidenced based therapies including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Conjoined Treatment, and EMDR.
I am a member of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) and am working towards WPATH Gender Specialist Certification. I am currently able to assess for gender dysphoria and provide necessary treatment and documentation for gender affirming transition services.
