To introduce myself, I am a seasoned clinician with 8+ years in the field. My previous experience includes: Adult counseling with a focus on Anxiety based disorders, Family counseling, Reunification counseling, DrugAlcohol counseling, and a specialization in First Episode Psychosis.
What sets the identity of my sessions is their structure and strategy. While I believe in having client centered treatment, I've often felt as though the therapistclient relationship requires strategy and tangible advancement that can be noted by the client. What this means is that using psycho-education to identify thought or behavior patterns is often used as well as guided conversations to further explore the nature of distressed mental health symptoms.
