My Approach to Helping

I offer Couples Therapy, Pre-Marital and Marriage Counseling, Couples Counseling and Sex Therapy. I am also an expert at treating INFIDELITY. I wrote two books, "Helping Couples Overcome Infidelity," and "Pre-Marital Counseling: A Guide for Clinicians." Both are available at Amazon.

I cover all topics related to sex and sexuality therapy. Many couples struggle in sexless marriages or with sexual problems. Often this is due to trouble communicating effectively about sex. In our work together, I will help you learn to ask for your needs and desires. I use humor and a non-judgmental approach to teach couples skills to be more happy in their relationships.

Therapy is an interactive process that includes homework, education, and skills training. You will not just come and fight in my sessions. You will learn to listen and truly understand each other so you can have a fulfilling relationship and sex life.

More Info About My Practice

I am a private pay only therapist. I have an intern at my office who also offers low cost treatment to clients who qualify for this service. She is getting her masters degree and must get a certain number of hours of counseling to graduate. If you cannot afford my fee, ask about my intern. You can also visit my website, podcast or youtube channel for free tips on relationships and sex.

What I Say to People Concerned about the Therapy Process

Therapy can be a challenge for any individual. I encourage people new to therapy to come with an open mind and a willingness to try something new. You can expect me to ask questions about the problem, questions about your family history and questions about your personality. I use this information to guide my work. You can also expect me to have a sense of humor and to try and make things more positive in our work together. While therapy is meant to help clients resolve problems, that doesn't mean it has to be morose or boring. I value humor and try to help clients develop joy individually and together as a part of healing process.
