Andy Smith is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Virginia who has over 10 years of experience working to empower children, adolescents, adults, and families to better face and cope with depression, anxiety, family conflict, and trauma. Andy completed both his Bachelor of Science in Creative Advertising with a minor in Psychology and his Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. He uses a combination of cognitive-behavioral, dialectical behavioral, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, strengths-based, family systems, and solution-focused therapy interventions to provide a relaxed, creative, collaborative, and individualized approach to treatment. Andy seeks to build a meaningful and empathic relationship with you in order to facilitate recognizable growth and change. He wants you to be able to achieve your goals and live a thriving life.
