Andrea Marie Zavitz is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with 16 years of experience in the mental health field including 11 as a counselor. Over the years, Andrea has helped thousands of individuals and families get through tough times, make decisions, feel successful, improve their mood, daily lives, and interactions. From the therapy session to the classroom, to speaking at conferences, Andrea provides confidential therapy, coaching, and consultation with individuals, families, and couples, on a variety of mental health concerns and topics. Her experience includes working with individuals of different careers, backgrounds, and cultures. Andrea completed her Bachelor of Science (BS) in Human Services and her Master of Science (MS) in Professional Counseling at Southeastern University and Troy University. She has also completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Andrea is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructor who has training in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), Feeling State Addiction Protocol, Trauma Attachment Protocol, Crisis Stabilization Protocol, and Suicide and Threat Assessment. With a varied background herself, Andrea has a unique viewpoint on understanding and relating to her clients and their situations. For example, as a wife of a retired military veteran, she understands the daily demands faced by military and expat families. Andrea's superpowers include listening, empathizing, and working to understand each person's difficulties and situation to provide personalized therapy solutions. Struggling with stress?
