My Approach to Helping

When you hit a wall in life, you want to land in a safe, secure, open minded environment with someone that understands the challenges that come from life not working out as planned. My first priority is to provide that environment, address concerns and answer any questions that may arise. From there, I build a custom treatment plan for you - you are given an on the spot plan for healing and real tools to start shaping a new, better life in the long term.

More Info About My Practice

While my primary focus is in working with you to achieve your 'happy place,' I have often been approached to share my work in the media. I have appeared on the Today show, been interviewed on National Public Radio (NPR) and WS Radio and have been quoted in Cosmopolitan, Woman's Day, Redbook, Huffington Post, Glamour, PBS, WebMD, IVillage, EHarmony and more. These clips and articles can be viewed under the MediaPress section of my website, found at the bottom of this page.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

My specialty is in working with couples and individuals battling the challenges of daily living; the day to day struggles that everyone encounters at some point in their lives - life transitions, anxiety, sadness, hopelessness, low self esteem and confidence, lack of communication skills, loss of intimacy and general couples issues. I work to increase your clarity and provide solutions to remedy these struggles.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

I really admire a client's ability to take steps to improve their life and am privileged to play a small role in your journey from struggle to triumph. For me, the beauty of therapy and my approach specifically, lies in the ability to provide real solutions to real issues. Witnessing your ambition, effort and desire is nothing short of inspirational.
