My Approach to Helping

In my practice I strive to create a safe space for my clients to explore their concerns with compassion and acceptance. I provide trauma-informed, inclusive, person-centred, online counselling services for individuals and couples to address a range of concerns. I was drawn to the field of psychology from a young, having experienced challenges in my own life, and now am fortunate to get to use my knowledge and experience to help people navigate their own journeys.

I work with adults, couples and parents to navigate a wide range of challenges including trauma, addiction, chronic pain and illness, as well as anxiety, mood and personality disorders. In addition to this I am passionate about supporting adults with ADHD as well as couples and parents navigating ADHD in their homes.

Whether you are new to counselling or have accessed similar services before, if you are struggling with something specific or want to explore areas for development, or if you just want to learn more about therapy or yourself, I would love to connect and see if I can help you reach your goals.

More Info About My Practice

At Building You Counselling and Therapeutic Services we focus on providing client-centred, strengths-based, and trauma-informed services for a wide range of challenges. At Building You, we believe that we do not start with all the answers. We are not created whole, and chipped away at by life's experiences. Rather, we build ourselves piece by piece as we heal, grow, and learn.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

Are you an adult with ADHD or who thinks they might have ADHD? Part of a neurodivergent relationship? A parent with ADHD, or the parent of a child with ADHD? I work with adults, couples and families to: navigate the diagnostic process, learn about ADHD and the brain, process a recent diagnosis, develop skills and coping tools in a variety of areas, and improve confidence while decreasing stigma.
