My Approach to Helping
At some point, we all find ourselves struggling to achieve our goals, which may result in feelings of sadness, anger, or anxiety. An important step in achieving your goals is to reach out for help. My approach to therapy involves coming alongside you to provide you with support as we explore what obstacles might be preventing you from thriving and achieving your goals in life. These barriers can often include relational difficulties, substance use, life transitions, spirituality issues, traumatic experiences, or coping with cancer or chronic illnesses. We will address these barriers together during our ongoing weekly therapy sessions in order to equip you with the necessary skills to cope so you can thrive! In addition to providing therapy, I also conduct psychological and cognitive evaluations in order to assess for and identify any potential barriers to your success (i.e., psychiatric illnesses, ADHD, learning disabilities, etc.) and will provide recommendations as to how you can address them so you can reach your full potential!
