My Approach to Helping
Abigayle Majul is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 15 years of experience in the mental health field and over 20 years working with children and adolescents. Abigayle specializes in treating trauma, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, ADHD, behavior management, and parenting. Abigayle completed her Bachelor's in Psychology at the University of Texas-Austin. She further pursued her Master's degree in Professional Counseling at Texas State University. Abigayle's personal and professional experiences, along with her interests, helps her to provide a creative approach to her treatment, while still being well-versed in some more traditional and structured approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and much more.
