My Approach to Helping
Gabrielle is a Therapist Associate working toward full licensure and has 4 years of experience in the field of mental health. She is passionate about helping individual adults struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, questioning, self-esteem, coping with life challenges, ADHD, bipolar disorder, grief and loss, etc. She is an advocate for destigmatizing mental health and brings empathy, compassion, and a genuine approach into sessions. She values multiculturalism and believes no two clients are the same.
Gabrielle received her Master of Arts in Counseling from Caldwell University, where her concentration and training were in mental health counseling specifically. Gabrielle uses an eclectic therapeutic approach, and will often incorporate person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) coping skills, narrative therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy into sessions.
Being vulnerable, sharing your story, and working on emotional regulation aren't easy. But you don't have to go at this alone. Taking the first step in scheduling your first therapy appointment is something that can ignite your future for the better. Let your step of courage continue to inspire you through your journey.
