My Approach to Helping
Are there changes in your child that have you worried?
Fighting? Falling grades? Defiance? Withdrawn?

What I find is that all teens go through tremendous growth, challenge and change during this time of their lives. Some sail through, some stumble and some fall down. I have found that there are many reasons for this but it doesn't make it any easier to deal with.
This a confusing time for your teenager and for you as parents.
Today's teenagers need a different approach. You know your child. What you may need to know is how to communicate more effectively to find out what challenges they are facing, to create rules with them to gain greater cooperation, to foster their independence and to empower them for the future.
