More Info About My Practice

I also use Brainspotting (BSP) in my practice. Brainspotting was discovered in 2003 by David Grand, Ph.D.. As stated by Grand, "Where we look affects how we feel". BSP makes use of this natural phenomenon through its use of relevant eye positions. This helps the BSP therapist to locate, focus, process and release a wide range of emotionally and bodily-based conditions. It is a powerful, focused treatment that works by identifying, processing and releasing core neurophysical sources of emotion/body pain, trauma, dissociation, and a variety of challenging symptoms. Brainspotting is a simultaneous form of diagnosis and treatment that is deep, direct and powerful, yet focused and containing.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

Being a therapist is my destiny. Even when I was a child, my friends sought my compassionate feedback. By my teen years, I knew therapy was my calling. Like many other young women, I found myself caught up in a career that was not for me. At first, I was happy but not fulfilled living in New York, and then later in Los Angeles. Therapy and inner work helped me experience my own transformation, and I decided to bring healing and hope to others by becoming a therapist.

My own therapy as a young person enabled me to become more assertive and live my life with clarity and strength. Consequently, in spit of struggling with dyslexia, I returned to school to complete my bachelor's degree. I then completed a master's degree in marriage and family counseling.

Therapy helped me address self-limiting believes and childhood difficulties. My journey has proven to me that we really can resolve anything, and that doing so allows us to share ourselves with others. Healing is always possible. I am living the life I dreamed about, and have never been happier. My relationships?with my family, friends, and husband?are highly fulfilling. I overcame the obstacles I faced, and I can show you how to do the same.

Now I'm living my dream and I've never been happier. Relationships with my husband, family and friends are fulfilling and rewarding. I overcame the obstacles that were preventing me from living the life I wanted, and you can too.
