Sometimes it's hard to know why you're feeling distressed. Many factors, often outside our awareness, influence and impact how we relate to others. I can help you explore your feelings, understand and gain relief from the obstacles that may be getting in the way of a happier, more emotionally satisfying life. I'm highly trained and experienced working with a broad range of individuals from diverse backgrounds, to make deep, enduring changes in their personal and professional lives. My approach is collaborative and thoughtful and I bring to my work compassion, humility and warmth.

More Info About My Practice
Therapy entails curiosity and honesty, the desire to make discoveries about yourself and a wish to bring about changes in your life. This exploration can lead to new opportunities, higher self value and an increased sense of satisfaction and harmony in your relationships. With compassion, genuine curiosity and openness I offer a supportive and non-critical setting in which it feels safe to explore your thoughts and feelings, gain understanding about yourself and your patterns, and to develop new ways of coping with problems and relating to others.
Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With
Women are always in transition, whether they're entering a new relationship, adopting or having a baby, sending a child off to college, returning to college themselves, dealing with death of a loved one, retiring, and on and on. Life is filled with happy changes and unexpected changes and there is a process to successfully weather all the changes. I help women face and thrive in transitions.
I also help active members of the armed forces and veterans returning from deployment to reintegrate into their families and lives at home. Transition dilemmas may include career and college decisions, relationships, growing children, breakups etc. I help people work through these and other difficult changes.
- Individual Therapy & Counseling
- Group Therapy
- Clinical Supervision
I lead groups of women who are learning to unblock creativity, build resilience and take charge of their own transitions by understanding the steps through transition. Women in Transition is a powerful group process whereby women discover inner strength and learn how to become curious about how they process and adapt to changes and unexpected turns in life's course.
