My Approach to Helping

Counseling is my life's calling! My approach to counseling is faith based, empathetic, direct, and offers concrete tools for practical application. Counseling is not only a safe place for emotional support but also a place to gain direction for your life. I tend to be more honest with my clients and push for positive progress. Counseling is an investment into yourself and your health. Be encouraged if you are seeking help because that means you are taking personal accountability for your life. Acknowledging your need for positive change shows maturity and I take great joy in helping people reach their goals. I have had the priviledge of working with over 10,000 client cases and have seen great results in the lives of my clients.

More Info About My Practice

My wife and I own and manage our group counseling practice called Intentional Counseling. I have my own active caseload of clients as well as 7 other clinicinas underneath me that I train. We see clients in person and virtually. Counseling has been extremely rewarding for me as I watch my clients grow. Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions about therapy before you book. I try to have a quick phone consult with new clients to answer questions and get you booked.
After talking with over 10,000 people I am confident in my ability to help you.

Looking forward to meeting you!

How Psychotherapy Can Help

The mind affects every aspect of our lives and directly impacts our overall health. When a car engine light comes on we take it in. When we are sick we go see a doctor. The mind is no different and requires maintenance just like our bodies.

Therapy helps you do the following:

Gain complete non-judgmental emotional support from an individual who cares
Gain understanding of self and others
Take control over your life and thoughts through awareness
Develop tools to improve relationships
Learn concrete tools and skills that make you more resilient to life's struggles
Learn the pitfalls that many people fall into and how to avoid them
Alleviate emotional pain and safely express difficult emotions
Alleviate symptoms from psychological disorders and struggles
