Do you struggle with managing your worries? Are you a people pleaser or get overwhelmed with all the demands? Are you struggling to connect with your teenager or others in your life? There is hope and there is help. Together we can create a more mindful way of being, reconnecting to your true self and work toward moving you in a forward direction vs staying stuck in anxiety. I offer a safe and confidential space for teens, parents and adults struggling with anxiety, depression or past physical, emotional or sexual abuse. The better you understand yourself, the better you will understand the things you do and can more effectively communicate your needs to others. Embrace your fears through awareness, self-compassion, and with confidence.

More Info About My Practice

Launching Your Daughter workshop is a six week psycho-educational group for teen girls who are a junior or senior in high school and helping them (and parents) emotionally prepare leaving for college. For more information please go to my website. This is done both at the office and online (for those in Indiana)

Launching Your Daughter Podcast available on iTunes, Stitcher and Google Play. I am the host and the podcast was created to support parents and caregivers in empowering their tween and teen girls as they prepare for young adulthood. Guests will be interviewed to discuss topics such as anxiety, perfectionism, depression, trauma, relationship struggles, budgeting time and money, nutrition and self-care. Conversations about mindfulness, self compassion, mind, body and spirit connections, holistic and alternative approaches used in psychotherapy and counseling will also be explored.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

I love working with teenagers. They are our future and I find it an honor to work with their parents and the teen. Many families I work with have good awareness regarding their struggles with fear, sadness or wanting to do conflicts differently within the family, but are unsure how or what changes to make. Together we explore strengths, areas of weakness and how to modify or improve the skills to attain their goals. Often the changes are small modifications in how people communicate or listen to each other. It is a privilege to witness teens and parents face challenges with such courage, gain confidence in new skills or become more connected in relationships.
