My Approach to Helping

I like an interactive, engaged approach that is intensely personal as I work to help my clients, whether they be individuals or relationships, by combining the most relevant aspects of Cognitive Behavioral and Psycho-dynamic Psychotherapies for their particular issues. Basically, I'm an integrative psychotherapist, using techniques from any therapeutic orientation that I think will be helpful for the particular personpeople in my office.

More Info About My Practice

My office hours are: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 10 AM to 3 PM; Thursdays 11 AM to 3 PM; and Fridays 10 AM to 2 PM. My office is closed on weekends. My preferred method of contact is by phone because we can coordinate schedules on the spot. Please feel free to leave messages. I'll call back as soon as I can.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I think experience counts. I have been in practice for about 50 years with a wide variety of clients and problems. I specialize in anxiety, depression, and relationship issues because they usually accompany most types of problems.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

What I really enjoy about being a therapist is that each client presents a personal world that is like no other. I have yet to be bored and can learn from each experience. Another aspect I really like is the intimacy that can develop in a therapy relationship. I feel privileged to be allowed to share another person's thoughts, feelings, and relationships. Perhaps most importantly, I like trying to help my clients to find what works for them.
