More Info About My Practice

My office can be a fun place! We are never too old to play, and it is sometimes just what we need. Counseling doesn't have to be tiresome, so I have the goal of making the often difficult tasks of therapy into something that keeps you engaged and moving in a positive direction. Creative arts, sand tray and play are great tools for children and adults alike, and I strive to help you grow in the way that works best for you.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

I love seeing people be transformed through counseling. On my personal journey, I have seen tremendous growth because of my commitment to the process of therapy. Counseling can be hard work, but it gives us new insight and the ability to make changes to improve our mental health and functioning.

What I Usually Need to Know to Help

No two people are alike. We all have very different backgrounds, families, beliefs, traditions and preferences. In order to effectively meet your needs, I seek to understand your unique perspective on life. We all respond differently to the challenges that come our way, and I strive to personalize my approach to work within your frame of reference. This gives you the freedom to make decisions based on what helps you best move forward on your personal journey.
