I believe that every person has the ability to grow and develop emotionally and spiritually throughout his/her life. I believe we can overcome old wounds, learn to appreciate who we are now, and continue to become who we want to be. I strive to provide a safe place to explore and change those behaviors that get in your way, appreciate your strengths, and learn coping skills to get you through the rough spots in your life. Using therapy models and techniques I think are appropriate for your situation, we work together to achieve your goals.
I truly believe your tomorrow can feel better than today. Call me, and schedule an appointment.

More Info About My Practice
I am on the panel of most of the major insurance companies should you choose to use your insurance benefits. Sessions are 45-50 minutes, and I often give "homework" which I think will accelerate your progress in therapy.
I do have a 24 hour cancellation policy. If 24 hour notice is not given, there is a $50.00 fee.
Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With
I specialize in working with people who feel depressed and/or anxious because I think many of us have had times in our lives when these feelings have been overwhelming to us. My experience is that we can change our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and learn to focus on our strengths.
How Psychotherapy Can Help
Very often people find it difficult to talk about very personal issues with family members or friends. Psychotherapy gives you the opportunity to share your thoughts and feelings with a professional who is trained to listen without judgement and help you resolve challenges in your life that are keeping you stuck.
My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy
I think the purpose of psychotherapy is to facilitate your getting to a place where you feel comfortable in your own skin and in your relationships with others.
What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist
I love being a part of helping people become who they want to be, feel confident, and in charge of their lives. It's a real thrill when people I work with report feeling more hopeful, happier, and confident with a renewed sense of well-being.
